Dated 1835. Single storey tollhouse said to have been designed by Thomas Telford.
Ashlar with low pitched hipped slate roof with very widely overhanging eaves.
1:3:1 windows, centre breaks forward as canted bay. Two-light stone mullion windows
with glazing bars in plain architraves. Doorway in right hand return of bay with
moulded stone architrave and door with diamond panels and ornate wrought ironwork.
Central ashlar stack with group of 4 circular shafts linked by moulded cornice.
