Two houses. C17 with C19 range. Flint and brick rubble with rendered plinth
and red brick dressings; rendered gable front, painted brick range to right,
pantiled roof. Left part (Folly House) at right angles to street; 2 storeys;
2-window range. C19 simple panelled door in wooden architrave with a small
hood on decorative consoles. First floor casements have leaded lights, the
left one with an iron frame. C19 stepped gable on kneelers adjoins later extension
to rear. Street frontage has two C20 ground floor casements and 2 small
hexagonal first floor windows. Iron ties. Side elevation has mullioned
casements. Right part (Pineapple House); 2 storeys. C19 bressumer over
carriage arch to left; C19 half-glazed double-leaf doors to right. Two C20
first floor casements with glazing bars. The later 3 window range to right
is not of special architectural interest.
