Post Office and attached house, formerly one house. Later C18. Coursed
stone plinth with rough-cast walls above. Slate roof with stone gable-
copings. Brick stacks at left and right-hand gables. 2 storeys. 3
windows, 3-light wooden casements with glazing-bars, of various designs.
Front door at centre, plank and 2-leaf. Door-surround of stone Tuscan
pilasters and flat entablature with projecting cornice. Interior: Hall-
corridor originally through centre of house. Door-case stair in right-
hand ground floor room is matched by stair in same position in left hand
room.
