C1840 two storey red brick row of slightly stepped small houses. Gable end
slate roofs with flat eaves; band corniced chimneys. Stucco plinths and
first floor sill bands swept to steps. Each has 2 bay front revealed
glazing bar sashes, panelled stucco heads flanked by consoles to cornices
with block pediments. Round headed doorways with rubbed brick arches having
moulded doorcases in antis with impost blocks, panelled reveals and soffits.
Four panel doors with looped radial glazing to fanlights. Alternate houses
have third bay with blind window above tunnel passage entrance.
