Pair of houses in a village street. Early C19 with later alterations and
additions. Rubble, stone dressings, slate roof with raised coped verges, gable
and ridge stacks. To left, Purbeck, of 2 storeys and 2 windows, ground floor has
2-light casement with ovolo mullion and hood mould, door in moulded stone surround
with flat hood on shaped brackets, small 2-pane window with hood mould; first
floor has two 2-light casements of 6 panes each under eaves. To right, Roselands,
of 2 storeys and 2 windows, ground floor has two 2-light casements as at Purbeck,
central 4-panelled door with similar surround and hood, 2 similar 2-light
casements under eaves. Single storey addition to left with C20 door and window.
