Former pair of houses, now a public house and a shop. Late
C18, altered C19 and C20. Squared and coursed sandstone, now
painted, and a slate roof. Double-depth plan and a rear
extension to each side. 3 storeys above cellars, and 2 bays to
each former house, with raised quoins on the left only, and
square blocks to carry the timber gutter. All the openings
have sashed windows with plain surrounds. To the right the
ground floor has been altered by the insertion of a shop
front, and to the left it has an original doorway and sash
window, both with plain stone surrounds.
