Attached cottage and house, C18. Apple Tree Cottage: stone walls, rendered and
washed. Thatch roof with big catslide hip at left hand. One C20 brick stack
at left end of ridge. 1 ½ storeys. 3 windows, 2 and 3-light wooden casements
with glazing bars and wooden lintels over. Front door at centre, wood C20 with
beading. Thatch canopy carried on wooden brackets over. Apple Tree Thatch, of
same materials with brick quoins at right hand. Two C20 brick stacks at left
and right gables. 2 storeys. 3 windows, mainly 3-light wooden casements with
glazing.bars. Fixed leaded lights, topleft. Front door, left of centre, C20
plank with 6 glass panels over.
