3 attached cottages. c C18. Montyike: stone walls, rendered and washed.
Thatch roof with stone gable coping to Main Street. Brick stack at gable end.
2 storeys. 2 windows, 2 light wooden casements with glazing bars. Front door
on opposite (west) wall (C20). Gingerbread Cottage: rubble stone walls, thatch
roof, one brick stack at ridge (centre). 2 storeys. One window, 2 light case-
ments with glazing bars. Flat brick arches. One dormer with thatch canopy.
Front door at right side, C20 wood with glass panels. Stoke Cottage: same
materials. Roof has gable end to north. 2 storeys. One window, 2 and 3 light
wooden casements, with glazing bars. "RCHM, Dorset I", p 95 (10).
