Two attached cottages. c 1700. Stone and cob walls, rendered and washed.
Thatch roof with gable ends. Brick stack at left hand gable, C20 stone stack
at right hand gable. 1 ½ storeys. 4 windows. Anvil: with 3 light casements
and wooden cills. Old glass. Cob: with 2 and 3 light casements with glassing
bars. Front doors: Anvil, at centre C20 plank with wood framing. Cob, on
gable wall, C20 with glass panels. Thatch porch canopy over. Right angle
extension at rear of Cob. "RCHM, Dorset I", p 96 (15, 16).
