and adjoining barn

Farmhouse and barn. Dated on rear lintel 1693, alterations dated and inscribed
over front entrance I.E.I. 1743. Painted stucco walls with angle pilasters and
eaves cornice. Graduated greenslate roof with coped gables and kneelers; brick
chimney stacks. Barn of painted stone rubble, partly stuccoed. 2 storeys, 5
bays with lower barn to right. C20 door in painted architrave under segmental
pediment. Sash windows in painted stone architraves. Barn has windows in bay
nearest to house: on ground floor a sash with glazing bars, on first floor a
casement window, both in painted stone surrounds. Right large projecting cart
entrance and lean-to shippon extension. Shippon to left of farmhouse is not of
interest.
