House, now part of club. Early C19. Brick with tarred plinth;
gable stacks and slate roof. Double-depth plan.
3 storeys; 4-window range. Left-hand depressed 3-centre
carriage arch formerly with double iron gates, and full-width
contemporary shop front has outer doorways with panelled
reveals, rectangular fanlights and 6-panel doors, fascia and
cornice, and glazing bars; rubbed brick flat-arches to
6/6-pane first-floor and 3/6-pane second-floor sashes.
Bracketed eaves. 3-window rear elevation with glazing bar
sashes. INTERIOR not inspected but reported to have been
extensively altered.
Recorded with No.5 (qv) as a public house in 1888; now part of
a single club from Nos 7-11 (qv).
