Small house, formerly prison. Possibly C17, remodelled C19. Slatestone rubble,
scantle slate roof and brick chimneys over gable ends. 2 room plan with one room at
lower end. 2 storeys. Street front is irregular with nearly central door to older
part left and narrow 4-pane window to left of door and 12-pane wooden sash with
horns to right. First floor 2-light wooden casement is over door and to right.
Cambered brick arches to openings. Extension roof has eaves at lower level and has
one modern window in gable end, otherwise the walls of the lower part are unpierced.
