GV II

Pair of small houses. c.1850-60, enlarged and altered. Painted
stucco (probably on brick), slate roof. Double-depth plan,
each house single-fronted, with side entrances, and various
back extensions. Two storeys, 2+2 windows. Each has 2 tall
french windows protected by a wooden latticed verandah with
swept felted roof, that to No.1 carried round the return wall,
and 2 windows at 1st floor with altered glazing. The facade of
No.2 is framed by pilasters, its windows have Tudor-arched
lights, and the left return wall has a round-headed early C20
doorway.
