Churchyard Gate onto Church Lane)

GV II

Pair of churchyard gates. Mid C18. Wrought-iron. Pair of gates
of round section verticals piercing middle and top rails to
end in arrow-head finials. Secondary verticals pierce middle
rail to terminate in similar finials. Below middle rail of
each gate are 2 semi-circular tension bars, the upper ones
inverted. Over gates is a scrolled overthrow. Side barriers of
identical form link gates to brick piers.
