House, now dentists' surgery. Originally part of No 3, but
separation was early. Rebuilt early C18. Red brick with slate
roof. 2-storey facade in 2 narrow bays. Elevation closed to
either side by giant pilasters rising to block entablatures
below panelled parapet. 2 sashes each floor with glazing bars
and gauged skewback arches, the lower ones entirely replaced
late C18, the upper also but retaining the original flush
frames. Below these 2 are brick aprons. Gabled roof with a
stack on the rear slope. INTERIOR of little interest. A fine
early C18 brick facade with Baroque mannerisms.
