Circa 1840 two storey 3 bay stucco villa, of rather a more individual design
than the norm in the treatmane of the verandah-ground floor. Raised on terrace
with plinth; ground floor cornice; overhanging eaves to hipped slate roof
(torched) flanking corniced stucco chimneys. Architrave surrounds to lst
floor sash windows. The ground floor, screened by verandah has 2 rectangular
breaks each containing an eared, architrave framed, glazing bar sash window,
carried down to step in plinth on to terrace. Modillion bracket cornice
carried across full width of ground floor, including the window breaks.
Central doorway with eared architrave surround, the head flanked by heavy
consoles supporting cornice. The verandah has paired trellis standards with
acanthus leaf decoration to balusters. segmental arched openings in front
of windows and door. Central flight of steps.
