Mid-late C19. Coursed squared rubble, freestone dressings. Slate roof. Sea (north) front has 2 storeys plus attic behind parapet, 4 sash windows with architraves and marginal glazing bars. Pilasters. Three square bays on ground floor with tripartite windows. Terrace in front. East front has 2 storeys plus attic, 5 windows, as south front. Large 2 storey, 3 window bow at north end. South end has arched entrance to courtyard with venetian window above. Single storey Corinthian column porch. Home of wealthy Bristol Wine merchant, John Fisher, a friend and financier of Napoleon III. Sub-divided into four flats in the late 1960s.
