Houses. Mid C19 to C17 core. Colour washed brick; Welsh slate
roof; brick end stacks. 3-storeys; 3-window range: 6/6 sashes
with brick sills under stone arched lintels; 3/3 sashes over.
Recessed central bay has passage to rear, and, to right, 8/8
sashes. Rear of No.54 roughcast, with remains of early stack
base; C19 and C20 faced wings. Central passageway has exposed
timber-frame to rear corner of No.54. No.58 has 2-storey wing
to rear, of rubble with plain tile roof, with brick lined
openings and blocked doorway to side. C19 door in angle of
passage to rear. Right end shows brick facing of front, and
rendered side elevation (where visible). INTERIOR of Nos.54
and 55: exposed timber-framing; decorated plasterwork.
