2. Front of 19O0 when the street was wldened. Red brick, 4 storeys, sash Windows.
The rear is rendered C16/C17 timber-framing. The entry has a moulded screen and
the rear an oriel on brackets. 4 storeys and cellar. Important and now unique
in Exeter, a timber framed 2-storeyed gallery at the rear, to connect with a now
mostly demolished kitchen wing.
