House with shops. C18 front to mediaeval house. Ground floor ashlar,
rough-cast upper floors, said to be timber-framed. 2 storeys and attic;
front presumably once gabled, now with parapet between ridges of roof.
Glazing-bar sashes, two in attic, 3 on 1st floor, outer tripartite.
Ground floor has central doorway with brackets to stone open-pedimented
hood. Late C19 shop front to left, C20 shop window to right. Further
attic window in extension against the Bull Hotel (q.v.). 2-storey
extensions to rear. Witney Street elevation is of rubble with a little
evidence of earlier timber frame and a small blocked window low on ground
floor. Cellar below. Said to have been refronted at same time as the
Bull (q.v.) i.e. early C18. Interior: medieval archway referred to in
previous list removed.
