House, now house and shop. Mid C18 altered C19. Squared coursed limestone with
Collyweston slate roof. Originally 3-unit plan. 2 storeys. 4-window range of C19
casements, set under eaves, at first floor. Pair of C19 single-light sash
windows with ashlar surrounds, to ground floor left. C20 door, to centre, with
similar surround and late C19 shop front with recessed door, to right. Ashlar
gable parapets, to right, and stone stacks at ridge and end. C18/C19 2 wings at
right angles to rear, that to right is C18 and has a lower eaves level. Interior
not inspected but lean-to at rear noted as having C16 reset chambered fireplace
bressumer with roil moulding and Tudor rose and folded leaf decoration. Included
for group value.
