House, altered to 2 cottages. Mid-late C18 with mid C20 alterations. Hammer-dressed
stone, stone slate roof. 2-cell plan with direct-entry into 1st cell. 2 storeys.
Two 1st-floor windows. Quoins. Ashlar lintel bands to both floors. Paired
doorways, that to left original with keystone, window have keystones and projecting
sills that to left has lowered sill. 1st-floor windows retain small-pane Yorkshire
sashes. Coped gables with kneelers and stacks. Right-hand return: has former
doorway with monolithic lintel and wondow above, both blocked.
Prominent within the village.
