Four early-mid C19 linked pairs, each house two storeys and basement, one window in main block, one in set back entrance link. Stock brick, some rebuilding to upper walls. Slated roof with pediment-like gable end to road. Replaced sash windows, some with glazing bars, in stucco lined reveals round headed in round arched recesses, some stuccoed, on ground floor. Doors mostly modernised, in quarter column jambs, with segmental fanlights. Windows of No 14 have been blocked. Group value.

Nos 4 to 18 (even) and 5 to 23 (odd) form a group with Nos 1 to 4 (consec) and 6 to 15 (consec) Croston Street.
