C18 house. Rendered facade, cornice and coped parapet. Half hipped re-tiled roof.
2 storeys and attic with 2 dormers, 3 windows in moulded, shouldered architraves
with aprons. Sashes with glazing bars. Segmental porch. Doorway with rectangular
fanlight and door of 6 moulded panels.
All the listed buildings on High Street and Union Street, with the listed street
lamps form a group, together with Nos 1 and 2 and the Parish Church of St Peter
and St Paul, Church Place and with the Red Lion Hotel and No 10 East Street. (No
45, High Street is of local interest).
