Pair of houses: early C19. Flemish bond red brick with yellow headers, Welsh
slate roof and 3 brick chimneys. Rectangular plan of Z 3-unit houses. 2-storey
symmetrical 6-bay front. Stone plinth and simple stone cornice. Windows are
16-pane sashes under flat wedged stone heads. In 2nd and 5th bays are simple
wooden doorcases with traingular pediments and half-glazed doors. To right
is a 1-storey C20 addition. These buildings close the view up the High Street.
