C18. Painted brick facade with stringcourse above 1st floor and below parapet.
Tiled roof. 3 storeys. 4 windows. 2 bays of 3 storeys each, tile hung between
floors flank centre window and one on south side (including ground floor angular
bay). Sashes with glazing bars, all except bays in moulded boxed frames with cambered
head linings. Round arched doorway with semi-circular fanlight and semi-circular
porch with columns. 2 stone steps.
Nos 20 to 46 (even) including the Bugle Hotel and its outbuilding form a group.
(Nos 44 and 46 are buildings of local interest).
