3/84 Gammon's Farmhouse
and Crook Cottage

II

Farmhouse, now farmhouse and cottage. Rear range probably early C18
or earlier, front range 1823. Front range: brick in Flemish bond
with plain tile roof. 2 storeys. Hipped roof. Rear stack to right.
Regular 3-window front of recessed C20 two-light casements. Central
ribbed door up 2 steps. Decorative semi-circular fanlight under semi-
circular-headed red brick architrave of 2 orders with keystone dated
1823. Rear wing to left with rendered walls and plain tile roof with
lower ridge, hipped to rear. Range at right-angles to wing, to right,
parallel to front range and projecting beyond it to right. Brick
or brick clad. Plain tile roof hipped to right and left. Projecting
stack to right. Link between front and rear ranges, parallel to right
of wing. 2 storeys, brick, with plain tile roof. Interior not inspected.
