Farmhouse, mid C16. 3-cell cross-passage entrance plan. 1 storey and attics.
Timber-framed and pebble-dashed. Pantiled roof (formerly thatched), with
axial chimney of red brick. C19 small-pane casements and gabled wooden
entrance porch. Apart from the removal of the open truss over the hall-
chamber, the house is little altered. Very heavy unchamfered floor joists and
other framing exposed. Back-to-back open fireplaces in hall and former
parlour (the latter was converted to a kitchen/bakehouse by C19).
