C17/C18. Timber framed barn. Aisled along west side. West side has red brick
plinth and weatherboarding above. East side of red brick with plinth. Old tiled,
half hipped roof. Opposite double doors. Circa 7 bays. Substantial framing with
braces and tie beams, through purlins and slight ridge piece. Adjoining Outbuilding
Circa C18 and later. Red brick building (front rebuilt). Old tiled hipped roof.
Circa 6 bays lenth. Included for group value.
Furze Hall Farmhouse (including the range of cowsheds to the rear) forms a group
with the barn (and outbuilding adjoining the barn to the west) at Furze Hill Farm.
