Late C18/early C19. Red brick with narrow plain frieze, cornice and blocking course.
Slate root. 3 widely spaced windows, the 2 outer 1st floor windows are curved 3
light bays with hung sashes and leaded roofs, each has a moulded cornice. All windows
are sashes with glazing bars except centre 1st floor which has modern glazing 2
altered C19 shop fronts. This building is of particular interest locally as it
was the Old Club much frequented by hunting circles at the height of Melton's fame.

All the listed buildings in Burton Street form a group of whicih Nos 24 to 36 (even)
are of local interest.
