Late C18 earlier C19. Painted roughcast facade with plinth and small rusticated
stone quoins. Slate roof. 3 storeys. 5 windows with shaped stucco architraves,
sashes with glazing bars. Centre window on 1st floor is 3 light angular bay with
small cornice and parapet. Central carriageway arch. Semi-circular wrought iron
lamp bracket of good design has been adapted to hold AA sign, 2 storey, largely
rebuilt, southern section. Interior has good staircase of earlier C19 design with
2 turned balusters on each tread and ramped handrail.

All the listed buildings in Burton Street form a group of which Nos 24 to 36 (even)
are of local interest.
