In 2 parts, western section probably C17, eastern C19. Western section has gable
end to street with small cupola and weathervane depicting a blow lamp as finial.
Finials also on gable ends. Slate roof, eaves raised above earlier line, visible
on south side. Rendered roughcast facade. 2 storeys. 2 windows, sashes with late
C19 glazing. Side door in eastern section which is also rendered with slate roof.
2 storeys. 3 windows, sashes with late C19 glazing. Modern shop front. Sashes
have panelled reveals. Long rear wing.

Nos 1 to 21 (odd) Nos 25 and 27 form a group with Nos 1 to 3 (consec) Leicester
Yard and with the entrance gates and bandstand in New Park, The Golden Fleece Public
House and Nos 36A and 38 opposite. (Nos 21, 25, The Golden Fleece Public and Nos
36A and 38 are buildings of local interest).
