late Cl8/early Cl9. A pair of cottages. Painted brick ground floor and tile hung
above. Windows set between brick piers which extend full height. Hipped old tiled
roof. 2 storeys 2 windows in all, sashes with flush frames and glazing bars. Gabled
porch to each cottage on side facade.

South Cottage and adjoining cottage, Chequers Inn, Chequers Green (a building of
local interest) and Woodside Farmhouse form a group.
