Early C17 timber-framed and plastered house on an L-shaped plan with wings
to the north-west and south-west. Altered and added to in the C18 and
later. It stands on a moated site. Two storeys. Modern casement windows.
The north-west wing has a gable on the interior angle. Roof tiled, with
a large central square chimney stack and an external stack at the north-east
end, both with old brickwork. (RCHM 19).
