C17 timber-framed and plastered building, formerly a moated manor house. Considerably altered and added to. Two storeys. A later wing of one storey and attics extends to the west. Modern casement windows. Roof tiled, with one hipped dormer on the west wing. On the east side there is a large external chimney stack with two offsets. The interior is said to have original features.
