(Formerly listed as Methodist
15.3.1974 II School(former Chapel))

Methodist chapel, dated 1828, altered as school. Coursed sandstone,
slate roof. Rectangular plan 3x4 bays, with later addition to left.
Two storeys, gable to road. Symmetrical front wall has bands on
2 levels, Doric doorway with cornice, 2 windows at ground floor and
3 above, all round-headed with imposts and keystones and later
glazing, and a plaque in the gable dated 1828. Side walls have
rectangular windows, and a later 2-storey wing is attached to the
rear half of the left side.
