House, c1840, ashlar with slate low pitched roofs. Two storeys,
formal 3-window front with plinth, band, cornice and balustraded
parapet. Three first floor 12-pane sashes, ground floor plate
glass sashes each side of centre, ground floor openings with
architraves. Roman Doric porch with paired columns, entablature
and balustrade. Pilaster responds. West side 2 upper 12-pane
sashes and ground floor large ashlar canted bay. East side has 2-
storey square bay. c1910 matching north-west addition with slate
roof, hipped to north, and west side large canted bay with two 12-
pane sashes over. Various rear additions. Plain brick rear wall
with arched stair light.
Interior: open well stone staircase with iron balusters.
