Originally one house but of 2 builds. C16 or earlier. Visible square timber
framing with brick filling. Rendered upper part on left and some rubble stonework
in centre. Left section of 2 low storeys, 3 windows. 1 storey and attic, 1
window on right. Large, high pitched tiled roof?hipped at left. 1 gabled dormer
at right. Replaced leaded casements of varying sizes. Grape Vine Cottage has
entrance on left return; apple Tree Cottage has modern gabled porch. 1-storey
right extension of traditional materials.
