Former house, now shop and house. C16 3 bay end chimneystack
house refronted in early C19 when a further range was added to
the rear, late C20 bank front and vaults to rear which are not
of listable quality. Timber-framed building refronted in
brick, painted. Hipped slate roof with end (formerly external)
stone chimneystack with brick top partially embedded in
adjoining property.Two storeys; 4 windows. Two parallel
ranges. Windows are early C19 9-pane sashes.First floor has 3
jowled corner posts, the central one having large curved brace
to one side attached to tie beam. Attic has collar beam with
mortices for braces. Ground floor not inspected but open
fireplace to external stack a possibility. Bread oven remains
on outside.
