Long timber-framed double range of buildings. The front range probably C17 with alterations, the back right part C16 or earlier, the lower back left part, divided from front range by a narrow courtyard, also of C17 appearance. Two storeys, four bays in front with one bay of back building visible at right, showing some exposed framing. Steeply pitched roofs, the front range hipped and with three returned gable ends, the right one brought down as catslide at end. Two old brick chimneys. First floor banded plain and fishscale tile hanging, ground floor C19 red brick. Early C20 small paned casements with transoms. First, floor bellcast rests on wood brackets. At back roofs sweep low to walls of rubble and red brick. Some very stout exposed framing in oldest range inside.
