Stables. Late C18 imposing range of stabling arranged around a courtyard. Built
of red brick in flemish bond with some stone dressings and tiled roof. North west
front has central projecting pediment with contemporary decorative clock. Stone
quoins and pedimented doorcase with engaged Tuscan columns. Above the pediment
is a square wooden cupola with segmental arches with keystones, ogee top and metal
weathervane. Each wing has 2 Diocletian windows. North east front has central
projecting pediment with wooden louvred semi-circular opening and round headed
arch with wide winpost blocke. To each side is a Diocletian window, and a further
one at each end in a projecting hipped paulin. Courtyard has arcading with
original stall partitions behind.
