Barn. Circa early C17. Timber-framed, partly weatherboarded, partly with red brick nogging. Slate roof with half-hipped ends. Clay plain tile hipped canopies over cart-entrances. PLAN: 7- bay barn with aisles on NE and SW sides, and threshing bay at centre. EXTERIOR: Square wall-framing with red brick nogging, partly faced or rebuilt at centre on curved braces, the NE cart- entrance blocked and two smaller doors inserted. INTEPIOP,: 7-bay frame with large jowled arcade-posts with curved braces to arcade-plates and tie-beams. Tie-beam and collar trusses with curved queen-struts, diminished principals, clasped purlins, curved wind-braces and common-rafter couples intact. Aisle~ties and passing braces from aisle-posts to arcade-posts.
