Pair of houses. Mid-C18. Ashlar gritstone with projecting quoins, plain
coped gables, moulded kneelers, end and intermediate ashlar ridge stacks,
that to the west partially rebuilt in brick. Stone and Welsh slated roof.
Three storeys, three bays, with slightly advanced central bay delineated
by pilasters, all of massive ashlar, and with moulded eaves cornice.
Venetian windows to ground and first floor, that to first floor with depressed
pointed arch to centre, set back within shallow recess. Flanking bays have
glazing bar sashes, with projecting surrounds and keyblocks, those to ground
floor with semi-circular heads and keyblocks. All first floor windows have
balustrades below cills, and plain band courses link cills of ground and
first floor windows and balustrades. Two doorways with Doric columns,
enriched entablatures and six-panelled doors.
