House. 1860-80. Gault brick. Roof of corrugated concrete
tiles. 3 storeys; 2-window range. Right-hand bay is a
full-height canted window bay, the ground floor of which has
1/1 and 2/2 horned sashes. Door to left set behind a stuccoed
doorcase under a hood on scrolled consoles. First floor has a
bowed cast-iron balcony supported on scrolled brackets with
circular fluted standards rising to flat-arched foliated
braces on which is a sloping zinc canopy above the 2 French
windows. Side cants of the window bay with late C20 top-hung
casements. Late C20 centre-hung casements to second floor.
Modillion eaves cornice. Gabled roof.
INTERIOR: refurbished late C20 including replacement
staircase.
