Villa, now school. c1830-48. Sandstone ashlar, slate roof.
Double-depth double-fronted plan.
2 storeys, 2:1:2 windows, symmetrical, the centre breaking
forwards slightly; with rusticated corner pilasters, plain
frieze and moulded cornice with blocking course. The centre
has a round-headed doorway with a keystone, a panelled door
and a fanlight, protected by a Corinthian portico with a
balustraded parapet, and above this a 2-light French window
with a cornice on consoles; the outer bays have large 4-pane
sashed windows with raised sills and plain reveals. Coped
gables and gable chimneys.
Rear: 12-pane sashed windows and a round-headed stair-window.
