Turner. Red brick; machine tile roof. 2 storeys and attics.
Plan is of 2 parallel gabled ranges running north-south,
linked at the south end by a gabled range running east-west.
Facade to east. Wide gable-end to left containing doorway set
within a moulded 4-centred recessed arch. Two 1/1 horned
sashes right of this and a 1/1 horned sash to first floor
under a hipped roof. One small 1/1 horned sash in gable head.
To right of gable is a canted bay with glazed double doors. 2
first-floor sashes above, without glazing bars. Gabled roofs.
3 serrated stacks irregularly disposed.
West front has a collection of 1/1 horned sashes, a 2-storey
canted bay window to left under a gable rebuilt after collapse
in 1987, and a bay window to the right at ground floor. 2
gabled dormers, one small and one large, the latter on
decorative brick corbelling running down through the eaves.
South front also with a 2-storey canted bay window to left,
and a contemporary greenhouse to right. Greenhouse is of
timber and plate glass.
INTERIOR: Gothick in inspiration. Wide 4-centred arch over
staircase. Stairs are open-string, with square chamfered
balusters and moulded handrail. Raking dado beneath with
arched panelling. Internal doors have 6 moulded panels. Some
windows with balanced rising shutters.
