3/1A Erewash Bridge
II
Towpath bridge. c.1792. Ashlar. Chamfered impost band and
sill. Keystoned segmental arch. Curved parapet walls with 4
chamfered square corner piers. South side has late C20 concrete
pier, lintel and pair of flood gates. This bridge was probably
built at the same time as the Beeston Cut by the Trent Navigation
Co.
