7/65 and 42 (Miller's Thatch)

Pair of cottages. C18 remodelling of an earlier building. Painted
brick replaces the outer walls of a timber framed house of cruck construction;
Thatched roof with scalloped ridge; painted brick ridge stack and internal
end stacks. One storey and attic; 4 windows, segmental-headed casements
and attic dormers with the roof arched over them. Two C20 doors with
rustic thatched roof porches. Interior not inspected but is reported
as containing a pair of crucks. Alcock p.155.
