South east lychgate to the Chapel of Ease of St Luke

Lychgate. Probably 1870s and contemporary with the Chapel of Ease, which was
designed by Basil Champneys. Timber with a clay-tile roof. Plainer than the
north west lychgate (q.v.) with a gabled roof on short, shaped brackets above
a shallow Tudor arched lintel on 2 plain posts. Pair of rustic gates similar
to those on the north west lychgate.

Included for group value with the church.
