Probably C18. Former stables of Offington Hall. A symmetrical layout. Flint and
brick dressings. The main range fronts the street. Full-height rectangular passage
through centre, with round arch to front. Semi-circular window each side of this.
Beyond these, north and south are blocked barn doors (the south one now with a casement
window). Further windows to the south end of the range (which is used as a dwelling)
but blank at the north end. Short wings extending from the back of the main range,
form 3-sided courtyard, with hipped roofs, the south wing having a series of almost
full-height doors. Tall clock turret over the centre of the barn, in 3 stages (square
with pediments; tiled canted sides; open belfry), crowned by tall weather vane.
